How does the weight loss service work?
Step 1
Complete a simple online consultation to determine which treatments suit you. Select a treatment and place your order online.
Step 2
Your consultation is reviewed by a GMC-registered doctor from Expert Weight Loss and if appropriate, your consultation is approved.
Step 3
Once your order is approved, you can book a pharmacy check-in and medication collection appointment at a time that works for you.
Step 4
During your quick check-in, we'll record your weight and height, with the option to also check your blood pressure, pulse, and waist circumference. If your BMI meets the required range for your treatment, the pharmacy will supply your medication.
What is Body Mass Index (BMI)?
Body Mass Index (BMI) is a person’s weight in kilograms (kg) divided by their height in metres squared (m²). It’s a widely used measurement to assess if someone is a healthy weight for their height. Our weight loss programmes have specific BMI criteria. You will be asked to provide your weight and height during the online consultation to calculate your BMI.
